ACICO Industries Company, formerly known as Aerated Concrete Industries Company, has started manufacturing autoclaved aerated concrete under the license of the prominent Hebel Company in Germany. The industrial arm of ACICO Industries Company, known as ACICO Industrial has successfully managed to master the manufacturing of autoclaved aerated concrete which was reflected in the trust and increasing demand of local and neighboring markets.

ACICO Industries Company diversified into the construction sector through the grade A ACICO Construction as classified by CTC in Kuwait. ACICO Construction has carried out a range of conventional construction projects across the GCC, in addition to being the sole contractor of wall load bearing system or “ACICO Building System”.

Due to our industrial success, we started manufacturing cement as part of ACICO’s self-sufficiency policy. This value chain assures the timely supply of raw material for ACICO manufacturing operations and projects which in turn decreases the risk factors associated with manufacturing. ACICO Cement is one of the only two cement producers in the State of Kuwait. In addition, ACICO Cement has set up dry and wet ready mix concrete production lines to satisfy the growing demand of the local market.

Forward integration into the real estate sector came as a natural move for ACICO Industries Company through its realty arm, ACICO Real Estate. This realty arm was established to manage the growing number of properties of the group.

As part of the company’s realty investments, ACICO has capitalized on its investment arms by cross functioning to construct and operate a number of projects in Kuwait and the UAE. Furthermore, we have entered the hospitality sector through ACICO Hotels by developing two hotels in the emirates of Fujairah and Dubai in the UAE. ACICO has commissioned the JAL Hotels Company the operations of its property in Fujairah to become known as Hotel JAL Fujairah Resort & Spa. Following the success of the company in the first hospitality project, ACICO re-commissioned JAL Hotels the operations of another ACICO property on Sheikh Zayed Road composed of 51 floors, now better known as Hotel JAL Tower Dubai.
